Our team at Golson, McCracken Inc. recently had the privilege of sponsoring a children’s charity golf tournament that raised funds that will benefit children with learning disabilities. This was the Ninth Annual Children’s Charity Golf Classic, which was held by the Knights of Columbus Council 6650. The event was held on June 7, 2014 at Lochmere Golf Club.

All of its proceeds from the golf tournament are going to The LAMB Foundation of North Carolina, Inc. The sole mission of this charitable organization is to provide much-needed support for children with special needs, such as those with learning disabilities or delayed development. The LAMB Foundation is run by the North Carolina State Knights of Columbus. According to the foundation’s website, each local council gets to use 85% of its collections toward organizations its own local community, with the remaining 15% of its funds going toward charities throughout the state.
