Getting Help with Medical Treatment

All of our clients are disabled. Very few can even handle a part time job, so most do not have medical insurance. Unfortunately, many do not have spouses or family who can afford to pay for their medical care, and because they are not healthy, their medical needs can be very expensive.

One resource we always recommend is Needy meds. Click here.

Needy Meds provides assistance in applying for prescription assistance programs that pharmaceutical programs have to provide the medications that they produce at no cost to those in need. The forms are available on the website, along with an abundance of useful advice.

Your doctor or pharmacist maybe able to help you to complete the forms, and quite frequently, your doctor’s signature will be required. Always be sure to let your doctor know if you are having difficulty filling prescriptions due to the cost. Often they will be able to prescribe another medication that is available on a prescription assistance plan.

If you have any questions about using Needy Meds, please contact us at Golson, McCracken Inc.
